The Turquoise Crocodile and the Toy Parade

Once upon a time in a sparkling, sunny lagoon, there lived a friendly turquoise crocodile named Carlin.

Carlin had the biggest, happiest smile and loved playing with his friends.

And what did they love to play with?

Toys, of course!

One day, while splashing in the water, Carlin called his friends—Lola the lizard, Benny the bunny, and Tilly the turtle.

“Let’s have a Toy Parade!” he shouted excitedly.

Everyone cheered, and they quickly gathered their favorite toys.

Lola brought her squeaking rubber duck, Benny carried his bouncy ball, and Tilly had a colorful spinning top.

Carlin, of course, showed off his incredible collection of shiny marbles that reflected the sunshine in a dazzling rainbow.

They lined up in a row and began their parade.

“Quack!

Quack!

Quack!” went Lola’s rubber duck as she waddled behind Benny, who was bouncing around with his ball.

Tilly twirled her spinning top, making it dance and twirl across the lagoon.

Suddenly, they saw a big fluffy cloud float by.

“Let’s jump and touch it!” Carlin suggested.

And with a hop, skip, and a jump, they all leaped into the air—only to have Carlin land with a splash!

Water flew everywhere, and his friends giggled.

“Let’s do it again!” they squealed, splashing and laughing in delight.

They played until the stars twinkled above and it was time for bed.

As they snuggled in their favorite spots, they knew tomorrow would bring even more silly adventures together.

And they couldn’t wait!
