Plum's Mischief in the Shade

Once upon a time, in a vibrant forest, there lived a lively bear named Plum.

Plum was no ordinary bear; he was the color of juicy plums and had the friendliest smile.

Every sunny day, Plum loved to relax in the shade of the tall, whispering trees.

But today, Plum had a cheeky idea!

He wanted to play a little trick on his friends.

He called out to his friend, Ravi the rabbit.

“Ravi, come quick!

There’s a rainbow over by the stream!” Ravi hopped over, his ears flopping with excitement.

“Where?!

I want to see it!” he shouted.

Plum giggled softly as Ravi zoomed past him.

But instead of a rainbow, there was just Willow the wise old owl, perched above with a twinkle in her eyes.

“Surprise, Ravi!

No rainbow here,” Plum chuckled.

Ravi stopped in his tracks, his nose twitching with confusion.

“Oh Plum, you mischievous bear!

You got me!” he laughed, and they shared a hearty giggle.

Then Plum had another idea.

“Let’s play hide-and-seek!

I’ll count!” Plum closed his eyes tightly and began counting as Ravi scampered off to hide behind a bush.

Willow, wanting to join in, decided to swoop down and hide behind Plum.

“Ready or not, here I come!” Plum said, opening his eyes.

He found Ravi quickly, and with a clever scan of the area, he caught sight of Willow’s feathers peeking out.

“Found you, Willow!” They ended the day in fits of laughter, lounging back in the shade, friends forever under the sparkling sky.
