The Thistle Colored Giraffe Who Learned to Swim

Once upon a time, in a sunny savanna filled with bright flowers and tall trees, there lived a unique giraffe named Ginny.

Unlike the other giraffes who wore lovely browns and golds, Ginny's coat was a beautiful shade of thistle, shimmering with purple and pink hues.

Ginny loved to play with her friends, Milo the silly monkey and Ella the gentle elephant.

One hot afternoon, while splashing in a cool watering hole, Ginny watched Milo swinging from branches and Ella playfully spraying water with her trunk.

Everyone seemed to be having so much fun!

“I wish I could join in,” Ginny sighed.

“But I don’t know how to swim!” Milo scratched his head, “Don’t worry, Ginny!

We’ll teach you!” With a big smile, Ella said, “Just wade in slowly!” So, with her long legs, Ginny took one careful step into the water, then another, until she was knee-deep.

Milo cheered, “You’re doing it!” He jumped onto Ginny’s back, making her giggle.

With Ella’s encouragement and Milo’s playful antics, Ginny finally took a deep breath and swam.

She kicked her legs gracefully, discovering the delightful feeling of gliding through the water.

They splashed and played, and Ginny realized swimming was just like dancing!

From that day on, Ginny the thistle colored giraffe loved swimming as much as she loved her friends.
